We have sold probably a hundred X series RTV's and have only had a few hydro problems. A lot of the units we service have 3000 plus hours on them also. The broom is 66" wide, hydraulic angle, and yes it'll spin fast enough. The PTO is fast. In the RTV, on the left side of your seat, is a throttle lock. You run it up to full throttle and lock it. There is adjustments to the unload valve and you have to adjust the charge pressure. The question you have to ask your self is, do I want power or do I want speed? Unfortunately, you can't have both. Either max speed or max power. You have to use the dump lever to angle it, so you're reaching back there with your left hand all the time. 4. It's a pain to take on and off. 5. The RTV as a whole can handle a lot more plow.
